My name is Hayley, I am 18 years old and absolutely love working with kids! I am currently studying a Bachelor of Education at Murdoch University. I have plenty of experience with children of varying ages, including special needs children, in a range of different settings. These settings include working in out of school hours care, years of netball coaching, babysitting, my practical placement for my Certificate IV in special needs education support and teaching placements. I also have three younger siblings who I grew up helping out with. I hold a current first aid and CPR certificate that includes asthma and anaphylaxis training and have experience with monitoring a child with type 1 diabetes.

I'm an RN who works part time on day/night shifts and I have chosen to work part time until my son is older. I currently do babysitting work on a regular and adhoc basis. I am very involved when I babysit, I get on the floor and play games, draw, read stories and keep the children entertained. I also assist in ensuring homework and reading is done. I'm very house proud and treat your home like my own. I will assist families with cooking meals, general housekeeping by emptying the dishwasher/washing machine, hanging/folding washing, clean the kitchen and assist in general tidying up as required. I'm not one for sitting down so I am willing to do be paid to do extra chores as required. I just have to let you know that I will need to bring my 12yo with me, if out of school hours, as I'm a new aged solo parent. He's a placid child, usually content playing with toys and if I do late night jobs, he's asleep in his sleeping bag by 8.30pm. My son loves to meet new kids and bringing him has actually made other kids enjoy being babysat. Oh, by the way, I'm both life and child experienced. I'm am over 40+ so have both life and motherhood experience. Due to my RN job, I carry the WWC card but this site won't let me upload it for some reason, but it's in my wallet at all times.
