Hello, my name is Lataisha, and I am a student studying a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood at Edith Cowan University. I enjoy being around children because of their natural inclination to be inquisitive, authentic and spirited. I like to learn and impart my knowledge onto children so that they may develop into thriving individuals. My experience includes a professional experience at a Kindergarten, working as an educator at a private school with children ranging in ages between 2-8 years old and I am currently on a professional experience at an early learning centre where I am working with babies and toddlers. These experiences have given me the opportunity to care for children, foster positive and warm relationships and implement learning experiences to support their development. I am certain that the teaching profession is the perfect career for me. I am willing to learn, I have a nurturing disposition and have acquired learning and development knowledge from my course. My degree has taught me about child development milestones, learning and development theories, teaching practices, language learning, creating optimal learning environments and much more. In my free time I enjoy spending time in nature, going on walks, practicing yoga, cycling, cardio fitness classes and gardening. My personality is easygoing, calm, genuine, mature, friendly and caring. I have my WWCC, Police Clearance and First Aid certificate. I do not have my license or a car but I am an experienced public transport user and I enjoy walking as it is a lovely form of exercise. I am working towards achieving my license. It would be a pleasure and honour to serve your child/children to foster their holistic wellbeing and learning.
