DAY/EVENING/OVERNIGHT NANNY Hi Mums and Dads, I am a Qualified Mothercraft Nurse and Diploma Qualified Educator with 40 years experience.I completed my training at Ngala Family Resource Centre.I am also an Infant Massage Instructor and , Sleep Consultant and a 1-2-3 Behavour Tonics Practitioner . I have had extensive experience supporting new mothers with their unsettled newborn babies (Babies with gastric reflux , colic, poor sleepers/feeders), helping to soothe and care for them while implementing age appropriate routines and support parents to get some well needed sleep. I also have extensive experience supporting mothers suffering with PND, Depression and Anxiety. I have a holistic, nurturing approach, and believe that providing a safe and joyful environment where your baby can develop a positive self esteem and a curiosity in exploring the world around them to be important. I am a positive, energetic, mature person committed to providing quality care for your baby/child, when you are unable to.I have worked in Early Learning Centres and can implement fun curriculum based learning experiences into your home environment for older babies and children . I love children! I'm an honest, patient, hard-working, reliable, friendly, clean person. I have done a heap of babysitting with children of a variety of ages (0-12 months, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 year olds) over the last 20 years. I have also done a heap of work with all ages and a range of disabilities as a Speech Pathologist. Speech Pathologists have detailed knowledge in child development; in particular assessment and treatment of difficulties related to feeding, swallowing, stuttering, speech and language development. I'm currently studying my Masters in Counselling. I'm interested in part-time or casual/ad-hoc work. I have previously attended library programs like story-time or rhyme-time, the beach, indoor play centres and so on, done school pick-ups and meal prep. Happy to stay with kids at home too.
