Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello, I am a fully insured, qualified and experienced early childhood and primary school educator. In 2024 I worked at an outback station as a live-in governess teaching and caring for three children under 6 years old full-time. I am skilled at creating imaginative play-based and physical activities for children and helping build their self-confidence and resilience. I believe that being outside and interacting with nature and the community is an important part of childhood development (as is routine and healthy food!)

I’m a warm, bubbly person who absolutely loves spending time with kids! Currently studying my Master of Teaching at Australian Catholic University, I’m fascinated by how children learn and grow. Having managed teams for four years, I’m naturally organized and great at juggling different activities - perfect for keeping little ones engaged and happy. I speak Indonesian, English, Mandarin, and Malay, so I can sing songs and tell stories in different languages, which kids find magical! I’m the type of person who gets genuinely excited about playground adventures, craft projects, and those precious “why is the sky blue?” moments. Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there, My name is Jess, and I am 34 years old. I have worked with children for the past 16 years in a range of different environments. For the last few years I have been working as a nanny, looking after children from as young as 2 weeks up to 15 years of age. Up until November 2015, I managed before and after school care programs; with numbers of children ranging from 5 children up to 45 children at a time with a ratio of 1 adult to 15 children. I found that I was lacking the connection with the children particularly in the larger settings as my role was more of a supervisor rather than a friend/role model to the children so I’m hoping to gain that through a nannying/babysitting role. I have my Senior First Aid & CPR Certificate, Working with Children Check, Food Handlers Certificates, clean driver’s licence and my own reliable car. I have previously completed anaphylaxis/allergy training, as well as asthma training, and feel that I am competent in each element. I also have experience looking after children with autism (severe and mild), angelman syndrome, global delay, Down Syndrome, epilepsy and anaphylaxis/severe allergies etc. I have experience as a Support Worker too. I have experience looking after very young babies (as young as two days old), multiples and many young children at a time. I have also been very involved in setting up sleep routines for babies, including sleep training. I'm a kind, caring, loving, responsible person who is honest and very trustworthy. I've worked in Out of School Hours Care, Long Day Child Care, Occasional Care, Private Nannying, and as an Au Pair overseas in 2010. Hopefully I'll hear from you soon! Thanks! Jess

I am originally from the UK, and I have been in Australia for around 6 months. I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to work in such a beautiful country. My background is in early years, and I have been working with children since 2016 in various capacities. I am a bubbly, empathetic, caring individual, and I have a nurturing, enthusiastic approach to working with children. I like to create a positive, and calming environment for children to learn and grow within. I have worked as a teaching assistant with a child with additional needs, this gave me a lot of experience with adaptability and emphasised the need for a flexible approach to learning. I have been an au pair for three different families, working with children aged 6 months, up to 4 years old. I have cared for multiple children at one time, including caring for twins. I believe understanding the child’s routine within the home is a crucial part of helping families with their day to day lives. As I have volunteered for a family based charity, I understand how important it can be to have people to support families, especially in the early years. I have a wide range of skills, and I am eager to put them into practice. I have a strong work ethic, kindness, patience, and a strong passion for working with children. I am currently working as a barista part time, and i am looking to pick up occasional nanny/babysitting work.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

Hi, I’m Zaira, a caregiver with a deep love for children As the eldest of six children, caring for others has always been a big part of my life. From a young age, I naturally stepped into a role of responsibility, helping to look after my siblings, cousins, and extended family while our parents worked. Growing up in Africa, that kind of support within the family is second nature — it’s how we’re raised, and it’s something I’ve always taken pride in. After moving to Australia, that same love for caring didn’t change. I’ve looked after my neighbour’s daughter, and most memorably, a beautiful baby girl named Maya. I began caring for her when she was just three months old, and stayed with her until she turned one. She became like family to me, and being part of her early milestones, from her first smile to her first steps, was incredibly special. Working with children brings me real joy. I love watching their personalities grow, listening to their little stories, and being someone they feel safe and happy around. I’ve always been known for being patient, gentle, and reliable whether it’s keeping routines in place, helping with learning and play, or simply offering comfort when it’s needed most. Looking after children isn’t just something I do. It’s something I genuinely care about. Every child deserves to feel loved, supported, and understood, and I always aim to create that kind of space when I’m with them. I’m grateful for every opportunity to be part of a child’s life and to support families in whatever way I can.
