Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I'm 32 years old with over a decade of casual and industry experience. I'm looking for casual or permanent part-time positions. I encourage healthy eating and physical play as a good foundation for happy kids, and am a strong advocate for free range outdoor exploration. I have my full drivers license, an Employment Working With Children Check, and first aid qualifications including CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis. I have a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and I currently work permanent part-time Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and alternating Fridays in an early learning centre. My rates are $30 an hour, with overnight sitting $35. Caring for toddlers is the bulk of my experience, but I have looked after children of all ages, including newborns and teens. Please note that whilst I have previously done school drop-off/pick-up only jobs, they're not my preference. I enjoy actively engaging with children and planning engaging experiences. I have experience working with large families (5 or more children), children with autism, and chronically ill children. I am fully vaccinated against Covid-19. I'm looking for part-time positions, casual babysitting, and night nanny roles. LGBTQIA+ friendly

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello. My name is Rebecca. I have been a stay at home mum for the past 10 years caring for my son who is now 10 yo. I have been in a relationship with my husband since 2004. We live together with our son in Kalorama which we have lived since 2017. Prior to being a full time mum, I worked as a Registered Nurse for almost a decade in metropolitan Melbourne as well as in various rural settings throughout Victoria, both in the hospital and community setting. Im a qualified Natuopath and use herbs, nutrition and homeopathics to maintain the health of myself and my family. I am interested in the role the mind has on health, and I have been studying meditation and Buddhism for over decade. I also volunteer at a local Buddhist temple. As well as experience caring for my own son and his many cousins, I have provided before and after school care in my home for children from my son's school. I'd love to help and support parents in caring for their home and their children. I can help with cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, sport drop off, pick up, gardening and more. I understand parenting is a big job and I'd be delighted to help where I can. Having a nursing background, I am very practical and skilled with hands on care and emotional wellbeing. I love children of all ages, indoor and outdoor activities including bushwalking, sport, craft, puzzles, games and reading with children. My son is Steiner educated so I am very familiar with this method of education and our family adopts a lifestyle that safe guards childhood and promotes wonder in the natural environment. I love nature and respect the environment so would feel uncomfortable using heavy duty cleaning products and contributing excessively to environmental waste. I look forward to connecting with you. Thanks for reading!
