Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, I'm Kimberly – Your Next Babysitter! Hello! I'm Kimberly, a 32-year-old professional, proudly Mexican, and happily married. My husband and I moved to Australia seven years ago as students, and we’ve built a life here. I am now a permanent resident, which allows me to work without restrictions. I have approximately six years of experience looking after children, having worked with six different families. I have cared for kids of all ages, from newborns to teenagers, adapting to their individual needs and routines. I’m a freelancer with a passion for photography, childcare, and animals. Since I can remember, I’ve always been great with kids—I grew up surrounded by cousins and now have wonderful nieces and nephews. My husband and I plan to start our own family soon, and we’ve already begun with our beloved dog! My Experience & Responsibilities With years of experience caring for children of different ages, my tasks have included (but are not limited to): ✅ School/childcare drop-offs & pick-ups ✅ Cooking & meal preparation ✅ Cleaning up after the kids ✅ Washing & changing nappies ✅ Supervising bathroom time ✅ Helping with homework ✅ Providing full-time care & extra hours (including weekends with notice) Fun & Engaging Activities I love to improvise and adapt to each child’s routine and interests. Whether it’s a trip to the beach, park, library, museum, or sports training, I make sure the little ones stay active, engaged, and happy. And as a bonus, you’ll never lack beautiful photos and videos of your children’s best moments! Being around children has been one of the most enriching experiences of my time in Australia. It fills my heart, especially when I feel homesick or far from my family, bringing me joy, warmth, and a sense of home. I have a car, all my paperwork is up to date, and I can provide references if needed. I consider myself responsible, patient, and honest. Looking forward to hearing from you! 😊

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there! I am very excited about meeting and getting to know you. ABOUT ME: I have been providing childcare over the past 22 years, and I have looked after more than 50 children in this time. The last 9 of those years, I have been a Nanny. I have worked with many different families: with 1-4 children; twins with a younger sibling, all girls, all boys, brothers & sisters; with an age range of 9mths - 12 years old. As all children & families are different I like to stay adaptable, to meet the needs of the unique situation. Some children are runners, some are quite contemplators, others always need to be crafting and creating big cardboard constructions, while another is quite happy to sit while colouring in and drawing hrs on end. However they all ask questions non stop, lols. And I love that because of their curiosity, I too learn; from having to google answers to the questions I don’t have answers for, e.g. I now know the oldest living animal is the Greenland shark, and it is guessed to have a lifespan of 250-500 yrs. With the current oldest one guessed to be 300 years old! But I only learned this because one child I looked after LOVED the ocean and all its wonders. :) I find I lean towards the Montessori Method of teaching children. I follow the theme of their current interest for play, games and conversations, and I like to incorporate their current obsession, be it space or dinosaurs into our word & math games and everything else we do together. MORNING ROUTINE; breakfast, lunch boxes, school bag packing, day-care/kinder/school drop offs -For the little ones when at home and not at daycare/kindy. I like to have our week planned. Be it excursions to the zoo, park, an indoor play center, library time or classes that helps their development: that the parents have enrolled them into, or I have found that the Mum’s & Dad’s like; e.g. Gymbaroo, Ready steady go, All Sports etc., to activities we can do at the house like baking or painting or even a playdate with their friend/s. HOUSE MANAGEMENT; groceries, maintenance of pantry & basic medicine (ie expiry dates & organisation), light laundry duties, light house keeping, tiding up after myself & the little ones, keeping the kitchen clean & hygienic, school holiday & pupil free day planning, meal planning, food & meal prep (dietary requirements taken into consideration) multi-tasking and other Ad-Hoc tasks. AFTERNOON ROUTINE; networking with other parents & carers at the children’s school- that the children are friends with or do extra curriculum’s with, extracurricular coordination (this is where the networking can sometimes help with car pooling & swapping weeks), planning of play dates, supervise-assistance with homework and practice for their extra curriculum’s. With additional extras from me if wanted/needed or time permits (eg. Music theory, maths etc.) ***I have help children further develop their music skills with my attention and knowledge than what they get in 1 30min class a week. And I have helped with development of their Math & literacy skills. HOWEVER my proudest achievement was some how managing to help my French charge (when an AuPair in Paris) go from an almost F (from her former AuPair) in her French Class to an A. While I was only at a very basic beginner level with my own French skills. EVENING ROUTINE; Shower/bath time, dinner, oral hygiene, an evening game (if time permits) and attend their unique bedtime routine. HISTORY SUMMARY: •2002-2003 I started child caring when I was 14: for my piano teacher’s son. I cared for him 3 days a week, (after school) from the age of 2-8, while his mother worked from home: I had to master the skill of noise level control, while I was young & noisy myself. •2003-2005 Once I was 16 I began to babysit for other families during the evenings & weekends. •2006-2009 Durning my tertiary studies I babysat casually between my part-time job and classes. •2010-2015 I babysat and assisted as a mother's helper, whilst working 4 part-time jobs. •2016-2017 I was an AuPair in Paris. And fell in LOVE with France. •2017-2017 Back in Melb; I did causal & part-time child-care, for families with babies, toddlers & preschoolers. Until I found a family that needed a Full-time Nanny. NOTE: for the below the ages are how old the children were when I left. •July 2017-July 2020: F/T Nanny—4 Days a week: Full Days, for a family of 5; 3 girls aged: 7, 10 & 12. • Feb 2021-Aug 2021: Temp P/T Nanny—5 Days a week: Split days, for a family of 4; 1 boy aged 9 & girl aged 7. •Sept 2021-Dec 2024: F/T Nanny—5 Days a week: 2 Full & 3 Half days, for a family of 4: 2 boys aged 5 & 9. ESSENTIALS: - Valid Victorian Drivers Licence - WWCC: exp. 26/10/2028 - Police Check: exp. 20.09.25 - Level 2: First Aid (inclusive: Asthma, CPR exp. June 2025, & Epi-pen) exp. June 2027 - CV: with copies of my credentials - References If you have read this far, I look forward to receiving a message from you. ☺️

Hello! I'm 19 years old and recently graduated from Loreto Mandeville Hall, and I’m currently studying at Monash University. Growing up with two younger siblings and having many young family friends has given me a lot of hands on experience in looking after children. Ive grown up in a big family so I am used to chaos, noise, helping with chores and all that comes with having lots of siblings so there is not much I can’t handle. I’m passionate about staying active and enjoy going on walks or playing netball with friends. In addition, I love cooking and baking, and I find joy in creating fun, hands on activities for kids. I’m friendly, reliable, and eager to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for your children!

I work hard to ensure that your needs are anticipated, and the hope I have in working with you is that I can provide you time and space - for you, as a couple, or to spend with your family while I take care of the everyday tasks (or the opposite when you need to tap out!) Hi there! My name is Safiya. I am 26, born and raised in Melbourne's north. I work in case management for a domestic violence program, assisting families to re-establish their life free from violence. I have 3 younger and 2 older brothers. I look after my nieces aged 4 and 6, and my 10-month-old nephew, on a regular basis. I am all too familiar with the nappy changes, feeding, playing and soothing. I have a disabled 75-year-old grandmother who I also care for once a week. This includes personal care such as pad changes, hoisting and showering. I enjoy caring for others and am often referred to as the mother of the group by my loved ones. I can offer sincerity, trust, compassion and years of experience as an aunty. A firm believer that it takes a village to raise a child, I do not take the trust of looking after someone's child lightly. Following the closure of the Escaping Violence Program, I have been providing casual babysitting services since 1 September. I am currently available for work until 5th December, as I will be travelling for two months. I do not have a first aid certificate but I am willing to obtain.
