Hey! My name is Keely, I have recently decided to take a small break from studying a Bachelor of Nutrition to create a new study pathway for myself. In this break I plan to pick up more work that I can slot my cycling training around. I have always done casual babysitting for multiple families from a young age, I have always been good at engaging with the kids as a friend but knowing when to bring in my authority. I’m an easygoing, trustworthy and responsible person that loves to chat. I am also an elite road cyclist trying to reach my goals on the bike, rarely I have a competition interstate that goes either side of the weekend but I know all the dates far in advance. Let me know if if you think I would be suitable for your family!
I’m a bubbly, responsible, caring, and loving university student majoring in archaeology and zoology with the long-term goal of becoming a history/science secondary teacher. Until recently I was a live-in mentor for young people 16-19 years of age in out-of-home care who were transitioning into independent living. I aspire to one day be a foster carer. My hobbies include documentaries, podcasts and hanging out with my dog and housemates puppy and 2 cats.
I enjoy kids of all ages and am a full believer that it takes a village to raise a child. I am passionate about learning, and having fun and fully believe children need consistent boundaries but with lots of love. I would love to go to the park, local library, museums, zoos, and other adventures with your kids, play games and do some arts and crafts. I’ll always read at least a few books with them. I was at one point studying towards a childcare qualification (until health issues got in the way) and have worked previously as a teacher’s assistant. I have this year done regular work for a family with 2 and 4 year old brothers doing daycare pick up (15 min walk one way), dinner, bath and bedtime, a 1 year old and 3.5 year old brother and sister, and a 1.5 year old with both parents working from home plus over the past few months I’ve done short stints with an 11 month old girl, 1 year old girl, 23 month old boy, 5.5 month old girl and have recently begun regular casual work with an 8 month old and 4.5 year old sisters, a 4 month old boy and 8.5 month old boy-girl twins.
While I don’t have a driver's license I’ve experience with taking kids on public transport and am very confident myself. I have completed first aid training for the childcare and education setting, am confident in dealing with medical issues, and am happy to do pick up/drop off for school if within walking distance/public transport. Household chores such as laundry, tidying, and errands are also favorites.

I am 18 years old with close to 2 years of babysitting experience for multiple families in my area. I have available and flexible hours and I am experienced and comfortable with caring for children in and away from their homes.
I am currently 22 years old, living independently in thornbury and have just graduated from RMIT (in 2023) studying a bachelor of criminology and psychology. I am currently looking for part time babysitting/nannying work (and casual babysitting opportunities) before I start looking for roles in my future career (in 2025/2026).
I have previously looked after a family with 3 kids in south yarra for a full year in 2022, and worked for a family with 3 kids for 6 weeks in Northcote in 2023. I have also had many casual babysitting opportunities looking after toddlers. I can provide references for these experiences :)
I am currently looking for work with greater hours! Any age range is suitable. I have had the most experience with 8-13 years, but I love toddlers too. I’m looking to expand my experience to include children under the age of 1, as this is something I really want to learn and master, and find it incredibly rewarding to help new (or more experienced) parents who just need an extra set of hands while they prepare to return to work!
I am after work that is rewarding, and allows me to form greater connections to those that I am helping. My aspiration is to work in a counselling or case management setting that works with families and youth/children in the system. I have previously worked in a psychologist’s office where I assisted children with additional needs in their activities, and sat into occupational therapy sessions. I hope to bring the things I have learnt into this role with me!
I am also an experienced pet sitter and dog walker, so I would be happy to help out with any pets as well. If your children are quite young and require additional help with school, I am happy to assist with homework and tutoring during babysitting times! I am capable of taking them to the shops with me, and can teach them to cook by helping me prepare meals/snacks in the kitchen! I always prepare a variety of meals that are healthy, and also know how to incorporate hidden vegetables to make them kid-friendly. In my previous roles ive been responsible for buying groceries, preparing lunches, dinners, school pick up + activity drop offs, cleaning, and fun days out during school holidays. I have organised days out with children such as trips to the park and picnics, walking down chapel st, taking children to the pool, and finding things to do when we have spare time to make the most of our day together!
I am fully vaccinated (up to date boosters as well), have a WWCC, a current police check issued in march of 2023, year 3 of green P license.
