I worked in the childcare industry for a year and a half with all ages ranging from 2 months through to ages 10 years. I hold a valid QLD licence and am on my second year of Green P’s. I can assist with light house duties for example, - washing of clothes - Tidying house areas - Packing and unpacking dishwashers - Changing sheets on beds - And redesigning of spaces (if need be) I also can prepare and cook meals for families. I am flexible with whatever cooking is necessary, whether that be so food is allergy friendly ect. Please let me know if you’d like a catch up!! I am so excited to hear from you!! All my best, Corrine

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Hi everyone! My name is Deni, I’m 18 years old, and I’ve recently returned to Brisbane after spending the past year in Europe working as an au pair. I’m currently looking for casual or regular babysitting opportunities throughout the week and would love to support a local family. Whether you need someone for after-school care, evenings, weekends, or ongoing weekly babysitting, I’d be happy to help. I graduated from Clayfield College last year and have experience caring for children of different ages through my role as an au pair, where I was responsible for school routines, meal preparation, homework, playtime, bedtime, and creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. I’m caring, patient, reliable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with children. I’m happy to travel around Brisbane and can provide references if needed.

Hi Parents! My name is Madi I'm 24yrs old and I'm looking for casual baby sitting jobs as I work as a registered nurse and work a rotating roster of all shifts, AM/PM/Nightduty. My hours would vary depending on what my roster looks like but I am happy to move shifts around if I can. As a nurse I am CPR and first aid certified for all ages and I have a blue card. I would like to think of myself as kind, compassionate and patient type of person. I have a caring nature and would love be an extra pair of hands to help with your little ones. I am very positive and always do the best I can. I also don't mind helping with household chores and I love pets as well (as long as they are friendly of course). A little bit about me, I love to garden and care for plants, read books and watch movies, go outside and be in the sunshine and go to pilates. I would also prefer the jobs to be paid in cash if possible. I also ask that your little ones are all up to day with their vaccinations, as I work in a hospital environment, just want to keep everyone safe. If you think I would be a great fit for your family please send me a mesaage.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

For the last 3 years I have worked in childcare looking after children from babies through to kindy. Previously I spent 12 years working in a primary school as a learning support officer. I have supported children with autism spectrum disorder, hearing and speech impairment, developmental delay, ADHD, social emotional difficulties and developmental delays. I hold a Cert III in Educational Support and have currently finished my theory for Cert III Individual Support Ageing and Disability and will complete my practical hours in October. Throughout my career I have developed a reputation for being approachable and calming. Children often seek me out when they are upset or need help to regulate their emotions. I am a compassionate, reliable and committed to providing the best care possible. I am adaptable and patient, and I respond calmly and positively to a wide range of needs and situations. I have raised 2 boys of my own who are now in their early 20’s so I understand how important it is finding a trustworthy person that can adapt and follow your family’s routine. I am a energetic person who loves running, cooking, reading, arts and crafts, camping, travelling to remote parts of Australia and spending time with my family.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! My name is Lola, and I’m a first-year university student at QUT studying Business. I’m looking to get back into regular babysitting and would love the opportunity to help out a family while earning some extra money alongside my studies. I have experience babysitting my younger cousins regularly when they were around 4 and 6 years old, continuing until they were around 6 and 8, before they moved away about five years ago. I have also babysat casually for family and friends and really enjoyed being able to spend time with children and help out parents when needed. I’m a caring, patient and responsible person who genuinely enjoys being around children. I’m happy to get involved with activities, play games, help with homework, and keep children entertained rather than simply supervising them. I’m also comfortable helping with routines such as bath time, getting ready for bed and bedtime routines. I have a strong interest in cooking and have been cooking dinners for my family and baking since I was around 10 years old. I’d be more than happy to prepare simple breakfasts, lunches and dinners for your children, as well as help with tidying up after meals. I don’t currently hold a Blue Card, but I’m more than happy to apply for one if required. I’m also happy to provide references from families I have babysat for. I’d love the opportunity to get to know your family and become a reliable and trusted babysitter for your children. Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello, I'm Erin! I'm a 33-year-old artist, environmentalist, and childcare worker with four years' experience caring for children from newborn to 8 years, in Australia and the UK. I hold three Bachelor's degrees in nursing, health science (paramedics), and environmental management, and bring a calm, safety-conscious approach to childcare alongside genuine warmth and patience. My general approach is guided by the principles of the Danish Way of Parenting, including play, authenticity, reframing setbacks, empathy, no ultimatums, and togetherness. I put a strong focus on age-appropriate nature-based play and creative expression through music, movement, and art. I love helping kids and young people explore the world around them with curiosity and confidence. I'm also confident with younger babies, including feeding, changing, bathing, napping, burping, and giggling, and would gladly support parents wanting a few hours' break! I take the time to understand each child's natural strengths, interests, and sensory needs, and shape our time together around them. This approach works well for all children, including those with low support needs (ASD/ADHD/AuDHD), as it centres on what genuinely engages and motivates them.

I am a mother of twin 32 young women, I raised them by myself. They have spread their wings and are no longer living with me. I very much miss being an "active mum", 33 years olds like to make their own way in the world. I very much enjoy spending time with young people and watching them grow.I am more than happy to support the parents with the way they discipline & set routines.I think open and honest communication is the only way to go. I have worked with many families & loads of children of all different ages & needs. One particular family i have worked with for 8yrs. Starting when he was just 11months. I treat each child as individuals & love to play & support where they are on their adventure. Keeping light & breezy but still have strong boundaries. I also worked for many years as a support and advocacy worker in the disability field. Both physical and mental health . This was a very challenging role which required lots of patience, caring and understanding, this has also carried over to my care of children. I can be very flexible and know the challenges of parenting and working. I dont mind doing light housework, picking up after or with the young person. And packing/unpacking the dishwaser, as long as it doesnt cut into time with the child. Thank you for reading, Jane
