I am a mother of twin 31 young women, I raised them by myself, with family support. However when it came to the decisions it was down to me.They have spread their wings and are no longer living with me. I very much miss being an "active mum", 30yos like to make their own way in the world. I very much enjoy spending time with young people and watching them grow.I am more than happy to support the parents with the way they discipline, I think open and honest communication is the only way to go. I have worked with several families, however these 3 have been the main ones. These families had very different needs, 2 families when needed the other Mon-Wednesday after school. I treat each child as individuals. I also worked for many years as a support and advocacy worker in the disability field. Both physical and mental health . This was a very challenging role which required lots of patience, caring and understanding. I can be very flexible and know the challenges of parenting and working. I don't cook, happy to reheat.

I have a lot of experience working with kids. I’ve been a babysitter for my bosses grandchildren for about 5 years now, and they are currently 3, 5 and 8.
