Hello! I’m Candace, social worker who is looking for a family with children to care for on a casual basis. I’m looking for work starting as soon as possible as I am keen to work casually offering my support for families and their children. My hours are anytime after 5pm on weekdays and anytime on Saturdays. I am also available after 11am on Sundays if needed. I’ve cared for a family with 2 boys in Brisbane for a year and I’ve had previous experience with volunteering at children events. I also worked for many years as a support and advocacy worker in the disability field. Both physical and mental health . This was a very challenging role which required lots of patience, caring and understanding, this has also carried over to my care of children. I can be very flexible and know the challenges of parenting and working. I dont mind doing light housework, picking up after or with the young person.
