This was a very challenging role which required lots of patience, caring and understanding, this has also carried over to my care of children. I can be very flexible and know the challenges of parenting and working. I dont mind doing light housework, picking up after or with the young person. I also change nappies, prepare formula and EBM, sterilise equipment, manage baths, change sheets and clean children's spaces, do washing, and all the other incidental tasks related to care of infants and toddlers. I also have no issue with caring for them when they are unwell with colds or other minor illness (unlike daycare for example) and can administer medicines.
