I just love kids!! I am a mature, loving, gentle, fun and responsible carer. I have been caring for children for over 25 years and am experienced with all ages. I have taught in Pre-school, Long Day Care, created an after-school care program, and have been babysitting since I was 15. In recent years I have also focused on After School Care, and supervising homework, and some tutoring. I am passionate about education and I am very consistent and firm, but also caring and kind. I believe in encouraging independence in children which builds confidence. As I have studied nutrition over the years for my own interest, which is also a passion, I believe I have a good knowledge of childrens' nutritional requirements, and feel it is very important. I have worked with several children who have food intolerances and allergies. I love music and dance, arts and crafts. I enjoy extra-curricular activities, sports and always encourage children if there is an interest. I believe a carer is an integral part of a family and enjoy getting to know the whole family. I am available for afternoon Care from 1pm, and evening babysitting. My preference is a 4 or 5 hr minimum as I can arrive early to do laundry, meal prep etc. for ASC. I love dogs and would be happy to walk your dog before picking up the kids... Or care for your animals while you are away. I have a reliable vehicle and an excellent driving record. I have WWCC, first aid and several excellent references

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi my name is Jacqueline. I am a 43year old non-smoking female and I have lived in Sydney the last 15 years. I moved here to help a family relocate from NZ who I worked with for over 6 years. I have worked as a nanny for the last 23 years and have worked for one family who included 5 children under 10 so big families are no problem! I have been working regularly for many families in the Mosman/Neutral Bay area for the last 15 years. I have experience in looking after children from newborn babies right through to teenagers and also have experience working with twins, diabetic & special needs children. I'm willing to help out with light household duties (cooking, child related cleaning, laundry, shopping, running errands etc) I am very flexible with my hours and after 21 years I know how important this is as unexpected things often happen from working late to last minute dinners to being stuck in crazy Sydney traffic! I am happy to stay late when needed as well as some weekend work, I realise its often hard to have set hours in this job and wouldn't expect to walk out the door at the same time every day. I also have my own car and booster seats if needed. I have been working full time with an amazing local family for almost the last 5 years but will be going down from 5 days a week to 2 days this year so I will have 2-3 days per week available. I can provide references from my current family as well as many other families in the Mosman, Cremorne and Neutral Bay areas for nannying, babysitting and overnight/long weekend stays. I have my WWCC check and am currently updating my first aid certificate as it has expired. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions or would like to chat.

I am fun, energetic and very enthusiastic about reading books together! I am happy to catch public transport or walk to local activities, and can also drive as required. I have several referees available. My phone number is 0439 855 651 if you would like to discuss further.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hey there! 🤗 I am from Scotland, and have lived in Australia for 5 years. I currently work in hospitality, which gives me most weekdays free, as well as nights Monday-Wednesday. I started out babysitting while I was back in Scotland, with a 2 month old baby who I adored! I then spent a lot of my free time taking on jobs in child minding of children of various ages, while the parents were at work. I am happy and confident to watch kids of all ages, and love making it fun and exciting for them. I also have years of experience in pet sitting too, so if your pet needs looked after too while I am there, I’m more than happy to help! I also used to work as a disability carer during Covid, so have my NDIS check approved.
