Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Hello! My name is Ingrid and I have over twenty years experience working with children in Sydney as a casual babysitter and nanny. I work as a librarian at a university and am available weeknights and weekends, as well as other times as required. I have worked with babies aged from two months old up to teenagers, and have also done several live in jobs while parents are away. I enjoy getting out and about when I'm looking after children during the day, especially to the local library for Story Time, and visiting local parks and playgrounds. I am fun, energetic and very enthusiastic about reading books together! I am happy to catch public transport or walk to local activities, and can also drive as required. I have several referees available. My phone number is 0439 855 651 if you would like to discuss further.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi my name is Jacqueline. I am a 44 year old non-smoking female and I have lived in Sydney the last 15 years. I moved here to help a family relocate from NZ who I worked with for over 6 years. I have worked as a nanny for the last 23 years and have worked for one family who included 5 children under 10 so big families are no problem! I have been working regularly for many families in the Mosman/Neutral Bay area for the last 15 years. I have experience in looking after children from newborn babies right through to teenagers and also have experience working with twins, diabetic & special needs children. I also have many years experience as a night nanny. I'm willing to help out with light household duties (cooking, child related cleaning, laundry, shopping, running errands etc) I am very flexible with my hours and after 23 years I know how important this is as unexpected things often happen from working late to last minute dinners to being stuck in crazy Sydney traffic! I am happy to stay late when needed as well as some weekend work, I realise its often hard to have set hours in this job and wouldn't expect to walk out the door at the same time every day. I also have my own car and booster seats if needed. I have been working full time with an amazing local family for the last 5 years but have gone down from 5 days a week to 2 days this year so I will have 2-3 days per week available. I can provide references from my current family as well as many other families in the Mosman, Cremorne and Neutral Bay areas for nannying, babysitting and overnight/long weekend stays. I have my police and WWCC checks and am currently updating my first aid certificate as it has expired. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions or would like to chat.

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

I have extensive experience working closely with families and children. In Melbourne, I served as a nanny for two children during their primary school years, managing schoolwork, dinners, and engaging, fun activities. Additionally, I've spent the last two years as a support worker for children with disabilities. This role has allowed me to foster meaningful connections with both the children and their families, prioritising patience, empathy, and understanding in all interactions.

Hey, my name is Annique! I am currently working full-time after graduating from uni last year, I am currently looking for some additional work whilst I save to go travelling mid next year. I am personable, responsible, honest, and kind, demonstrating these skills through all aspects of my current and previous jobs; creating a warm, fun, and nurturing environment in the role of a babysitter. Although my current job is full-time, I work from home on Monday’s, and have a flexible morning and weekend schedule, so would be super keen to nanny whilst away from work.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there, my name is Emika and I am a 36 year old female born and bred on the Northern Beaches. I have been a flight attendant with Virgin Australia for the past 14 years. Prior to this, I was a tennis coach for about 3 years casually and then 3 years full time after having competed through my teenage years. I was very likeable by the kids I coached and through that gained numerous babysitting jobs for those kids. I also used to work during the school holidays running tennis camps where the kids were in my care Monday-Friday 9am-3pm. Working at Virgin, I am constantly helping parents take care of children and infants who travel with them. I have also gained a few babysitting jobs through work colleagues at Virgin. I was stood down in my position at Virgin from March 2020 to January 2021 due to Covid. During this time, I gained numerous babysitting/nannying and housework help jobs. I am stood back up now but currently on ground duties which is more predictable and stable. I am happy to help casually wherever/whenever I can. I always take pride in what I do and ensure I am able to do things to the best of my ability. It feels so rewarding to help people and do a good job doing it. I love seeing children happy and being able to make them smile/laugh. How I treat children is how I would treat my own that I hope to have some time in the near future. With my experience, I have high expectations of myself and you can expect me to always come to work committed to make positive impacts. I love the outdoors and like to eat healthily so have no trouble passing that on to your children should you require that. I have 2 mini dachshunds so would be fine with animals around. Also happy to help out with around the house chores, dog walking, shopping etc. if neeed be to ease your workload looking after children. I have a full Australian drivers license and WWCC. Every year at Virgin we undertake a first aid and CPR course and every 2 years, we must renew our national security I.D. which means they run a police check on us. If there are any charges or infringements, we would not be able to renew. This has never happened to me in over 14 years. Am also triple vaccinated Looking forward to hearing from you.

I have taught in Pre-school, Long Day Care, created an after-school care program, and have been babysitting since I was 15. In recent years I have also focused on After School Care, supervising homework, and some tutoring. I am passionate about education and am very consistent and firm, but also caring and kind. I believe in encouraging independence in children, which builds confidence. As I have studied nutrition over the years for my own interest, which is also a passion. I love music and dance, arts and crafts. I enjoy extra-curricular activities, sports and always encourage children if there is an interest. I believe a carer is an integral part of a family and enjoy getting to know the whole family. I am available for afternoon Care from 1pm, and evening babysitting. My preference is a 4 or 5 hr minimum as I can arrive early to do laundry, meal prep etc. for ASC. I love dogs and would be happy to walk your dog before picking up the kids... Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

My name is Edie Cleland. I am 19 years old and I am currently looking for a nannying position in the Sydney area. Last year in 2023 I was working as a ‘Gappy’ at a prep boarding school in England called Cheam School, . I lived on campus where I was rostered with five other Gappys to work between the boarding house as a house mother, in the school classrooms as a teachers assistant, and on the playing fields as coach. The children at the school were aged between 5 and 13. It was a nurturing and rewarding environment for both students and staff. We were encouraged to make the children feel supported and at home, while also making it fun. What I mostly came away with was a respect and understanding how the child and the child’s families each have their own values and to a certain extent routines, which we were encouraged to accommodate and validate as and when we could. My experience has given me the opportunity to see I would like to continue working with children in some capacity. My hours are currently flexible and I am available up to 30 hours a week.
