Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there! My name is Mia, and I’m currently looking for a part-time nannying position for before or after school hours. I’m currently nannying three children, aged 10, 12, and 14, before school on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Earlier this year, I nannied two children, aged 5 and 8, after school. Unfortunately, they have recently moved away, I’m now searching for a new opportunity to continue nannying. I have around five years of experience babysitting children aged 3 to 14 and have also worked in before-and-after-school care programs. I love taking care of kids, supporting them as they grow, and engaging them in fun, creative activities. Through my experiences, I’ve developed strong skills in compassionate care, communication, and responsible decision-making. I’m passionate about creating a positive and supportive environment where children can thrive, learn, and have fun. I focus on hands-on activities and reducing screen time to encourage healthy development. My nannying roles have involved managing busy schedules, transporting kids to after-school activities, helping with homework, preparing meals, and of course, making sure they enjoy their time with me! In addition to childcare, I have experience working in a professional kitchen and love preparing healthy snacks and meals. I also enjoy helping to keep the house organised and tidy after activities. *one thing to keep in mind: I will be starting university in February 2025, which will affect my availability for nannying. Thank you!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi my name is Jacqueline. I am a 44 year old non-smoking female and I have lived in Sydney the last 15 years. I moved here to help a family relocate from NZ who I worked with for over 6 years. I have worked as a nanny for the last 23 years and have worked for one family who included 5 children under 10 so big families are no problem! I have been working regularly for many families in the Mosman/Neutral Bay area for the last 15 years. I have experience in looking after children from newborn babies right through to teenagers and also have experience working with twins, diabetic & special needs children. I also have many years experience as a night nanny. I'm willing to help out with light household duties (cooking, child related cleaning, laundry, shopping, running errands etc) I am very flexible with my hours and after 23 years I know how important this is as unexpected things often happen from working late to last minute dinners to being stuck in crazy Sydney traffic! I am happy to stay late when needed as well as some weekend work, I realise its often hard to have set hours in this job and wouldn't expect to walk out the door at the same time every day. I also have my own car and booster seats if needed. I have been working full time with an amazing local family for the last 5 years but have gone down from 5 days a week to 2 days this year so I will have 2-3 days per week available. I can provide references from my current family as well as many other families in the Mosman, Cremorne and Neutral Bay areas for nannying, babysitting and overnight/long weekend stays. I have my police and WWCC checks and am currently updating my first aid certificate as it has expired. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions or would like to chat.

I have extensive experience working closely with families and children. In Melbourne, I served as a nanny for two children during their primary school years, managing schoolwork, dinners, and engaging, fun activities. Additionally, I've spent the last two years as a support worker for children with disabilities. This role has allowed me to foster meaningful connections with both the children and their families, prioritising patience, empathy, and understanding in all interactions.

I just love kids!! I am a mature, loving, gentle, fun and responsible carer. I have been caring for children for over 25 years and am experienced with all ages. I have taught in Pre-school, Long Day Care, created an after-school care program, and have been babysitting since I was 15. In recent years I have also focused on After School Care, supervising homework, and some tutoring. I am passionate about education and am very consistent and firm, but also caring and kind. I believe in encouraging independence in children, which builds confidence. As I have studied nutrition over the years for my own interest, which is also a passion. I believe I have a good knowledge of childrens' nutritional requirements, and feel it is very important. I have worked with several children who have food intolerances and allergies. I love music and dance, arts and crafts. I enjoy extra-curricular activities, sports and always encourage children if there is an interest. I believe a carer is an integral part of a family and enjoy getting to know the whole family. I am available for afternoon Care from 1pm, and evening babysitting. My preference is a 4 or 5 hr minimum as I can arrive early to do laundry, meal prep etc. for ASC. I love dogs and would be happy to walk your dog before picking up the kids... Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Dear Sir/Madam, My name is Melia, and I am currently living with friends in Killarney Heights. With seven years of experience in childcare, I have cared for children ranging from 2 to 14 years old, providing them with educational support, creative activities, cooking, and sports. My approach ensures they engage in activities beyond screen time. I have two younger sisters whom I actively cared for, engaging in various activities together. In France, I worked at a leisure center where I organized sports, arts and crafts, and educational workshops, such as themed cooking classes. I am in Australia on a Working Holiday Visa with the goal of improving my English, and I find that working with children is an excellent way to achieve this. As a native French speaker, I can also teach or converse with children in French if preferred. I enjoy making vegetables fun and appealing for children, helping them develop healthy eating habits. I am enthusiastic about contributing to a supportive and engaging environment for children, combining my skills in childcare with a passion for cultural exchange and language development. I look forward to discussing how I can support your family. Sincerely, Melia
