Hii parents!! My name is Alexandra Puliafito. I’m 16 years old and currently attend Year 11 in Oakleigh Grammar. I live in Malvern East and and am currently studying my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, as I hope to become a kindergarten teacher in the future! I have experience caring for my cousins (ages ranging from 1–10) and neighbours children (ages 3–5), and I really enjoy spending time with kids, if that’s playing games, reading stories, or just helping them feel happy and comfortable while you take some for yourselves. I’m also more than happy to cook dinner or meal prep! I’d describe myself as responsible, caring, patient, and fun, and I always aim to create a safe, positive environment for the children I look after. I’m also pet friendly and happy to help out in homes with animals. I’m available weekdays after school (until whenever needed) and all day on weekends. I can easily get to and from jobs, whether by walking, my parents driving me, or using public transport, as I live next door to Chadstone Shopping Centre, with plenty of bus stops nearby and very easily accessible to get to Oakleigh train station if needed. I endeavour to pass on my wisdom in a creative and playful way to your kids, so they too can flourish, thrive and grow into incredible beings that lead the next generation. In terms of logistics and my background supporting children I was an international languages teacher for 2 years overseas teaching from the ages of nursery to high school and nanny for 3 regular families over the last 2 years in Melbourne. I have also looked after children from ages 2-15 up in the sunshine coast. I also have experience with caring for children with disability and diverse needs, children with adhd and autism. I have my license, a car, and am comfortable fitting car seats (car seats would need to be provided). Besides that i am finishing my herbalism certification this year.
