Hey there! This message is for the parents out there who are looking for a nanny. I currently have 2 beautiful families i nanny for in Olinda, but am looking to take on 1 to two more long term, Malvern east and surrounds. If your kids want to be around someone who is full of joy and excitement for life, is fun, imaginative, can explore with them and meet them where they are at, I’m your woman. In the years that I have had the honour of learning and growing alongside little humans, I have realised they are often my biggest teachers and I approach them the same way I choose to learn and grow in life, with open attention, curiosity and love. Each kid is so unique, and so I choose to not confine my approach to any specific methods or parenting techniques, rather I listen, I observe and grow alongside them, adapting and meeting them where they are at with compassion and understanding. The capacity to which I can hold space for myself and love myself through big emotions and feelings mirrors how I can hold space in challenging times with kids. I am still learning everyday, but through my consistent somatic practise, meditation, embodiment, dance, and my faith, my capacity to navigate challenge with patience and ease has grown. I endeavour to pass on my wisdom in a creative and playful way to your kids, so they too can flourish, thrive and grow into incredible beings that lead the next generation. In terms of logistics and my background supporting children I was an international languages teacher for 2 years overseas teaching from the ages of nursery to high school and nanny for 3 regular families over the last 2 years in Melbourne. I have also looked after children from ages 2-15 up in the sunshine coast. I also have experience with caring for children with disability and diverse needs, children with adhd and autism. I have my license, a car, and am comfortable fitting car seats (car seats would need to be provided). Besides that i am finishing my herbalism certification this year. I am also a business owner of a dance & embodiment women's school, where i hold classes, workshops, retreats and perform. Born in Melbourne and where I lived for the first 3 years of my life. I relocated to the UK where I completed school, and subsequently obtained a degree in English from the University of Sussex. I recently permanently relocated to Melbourne. Since graduating, I have had experience working with children aged 4-11 in a school as a teacher's aide and as general support staff. Hi Im Madi, I am 20 years old and have recently completed my cert 4 in early childhood eduction. Whilst completing my course I have been working 1 day as a nanny doing school drop off/pick up and taking the kids to sport.
