Born in Melbourne and where I lived for the first 3 years of my life. I relocated to the UK where I completed school, and subsequently obtained a degree in English from the University of Sussex. I recently permanently relocated to Melbourne. Since graduating, I have had experience working with children aged 4-11 in a school as a teacher's aide and as general support staff. During my time at the school, I was responsible for providing one-on-one support for children with special educational needs and disabilities, led small group interventions which covered all curriculum areas, completed a course focusing on supporting the emotional wellbeing of the children and independently ran sessions for those who needed access to social and emotional support, occasionally covered for class teacher and assisted with lesson planning. I have also worked as a babysitter for children of all ages over the span of 12 years and provided private tutoring too. I would love to become a Nanny, as I take great joy in helping children learn, grow and explore the world around them. I would hugely benefit from the experience, as it offers the valuable and unique opportunity to expand my life experiences. In terms of logistics and my background supporting children I was an international languages teacher for 2 years overseas teaching from the ages of nursery to high school and nanny for 3 regular families over the last 2 years in Melbourne. I have also looked after children from ages 2-15 up in the sunshine coast. I also have experience with caring for children with disability and diverse needs, children with adhd and autism. I have my license, a car, and am comfortable fitting car seats (car seats would need to be provided). Besides that i am finishing my herbalism certification this year. Hi Im Madi, I am 20 years old and have recently completed my cert 4 in early childhood eduction.
