My 19 year old daughter has now left home, studying at UQ, and I welcome the opportunity to offer my parental skills to families who need a hand when juggling their busy lives. Hi I am Jude and love kids of all ages especially new borns & toddlers. The eldest of 8 children, mother of 3, grandmother of 6. I have recently completed three years caring for 3 children ages 9,7 & 3yrs. The youngest was 4mths old when I began taking care of them and a strong bond developed with the baby, he was such a joy. I have been constantly involved with child care over the last 11yrs in a formal engagement.

I am currently studying Bachelor in Biomedical science (Undergraduate medicine) and like to keep active in the gym outside of work and study. I am primarily looking to pick up some extra hours of work (outside of my current workplace as a pharmacy assistant) for the duration of my current degree and possibly the next. I have over a year experience working in advanced disability support work and over 4 years experience in nannying. I also have experience working with children and clients with adhd, autism, behavioural disorders, cognitive impairments, epilepsy and more. I like to adopt a firm yet caring, gentle and energetic disposition when looking after children and am passionate about creating a safe and nurturing space to allow for full developmental needs to be met. I also have a current working blue card, NDIS certification, mental health first aid, first aid and CPR, police check and open manual drivers licence.
