Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

My name is Fabiola (Fabi). I am an Australian Citizen (I have lived in Sydney most of my life and intend to continue residing in Sydney). I have a current Working with Children Check and First Aid & CPR Certification. I am fully vaccinated against COVID 19 as well as against flu and whooping cough. I do not drive, but am very adept at travelling with babies and children on Public Transport. I have a University of Sydney Bachelor of Arts (Honours in Education) degree with a triple major: Psychology/Education/Mathematics (my favourite subject being Developmental Psychology). I have extensive experience as a nanny, babysitter and tutor: positions I have always thoroughly enjoyed. I believe that ensuring children's safety, and respecting them and listening to them is of utmost importance. I have loved and been fascinated by children ever since I can remember. Since I was 15, I have provided both paid and non-paid childcare: I have a natural aptitude for facilitating children's learning in a fun way. I love caring for babies; it is a privilege to be there when they are learning so much: the world we tend to take for granted is so brand new to them …. I delight in the "purity" of children and their behaviour. And when their behaviour is ah… beyond the pale, I take deep breaths and somehow tend to keep my cool! I am a good communicator, mature, trustworthy, honest, reliable, nurturing, compassionate, loving, patient, friendly, kind, humorous, easygoing, proactive, energetic, and creative. I care very much for nature and the environment, enjoy a healthy life style (e.g. I do not smoke) and am very affectionate with pets. I put my all into the babies, toddlers and children under my care. I positively impact their lives: being a good role model, seizing the opportunities that present themselves to further their development and education, having fun with them, and being there for them as they face life's challenges. I also provide solid support for the parents. So, if you need a nanny, babysitter, educator or tutor who a) absolutely loves interacting with babies (including newborns), toddlers and children, b) is passionate and knowledgeable about childhood development and teaching, and c) loves to feel like a part of the family, well, here I am!

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

My name is Bríd Madden, and I’m from Ireland. I’ll be relocating to Australia end of September early October , which I’m incredibly excited about. I’ve been fortunate enough to travel quite a bit over the years. I love to explore new cultures and new adventures, adapts quickly, and is always eager to embrace new experiences. I have a double honors degree in Psychology and Education from Swansea University, and I’ve always had a deep passion for working with children. Over the past few years, I’ve gained a wide range of experience in childcare and youth work. I’ve worked at summer camps across Germany and the UK, where I was responsible not only for supervising and caring for children, but also for designing and leading engaging games and activities that were both fun and educational. As well as lesson planning and night supervision. These roles taught me how to balance fun with structure and gave me a solid foundation in working with young people of various ages and backgrounds. I have also volunteered with special Olympics and taught both adults and students with Down syndrome to swim and play football. Which I found very rewarding and further taught me about patience and communication. One of my most rewarding roles was working as a Welfare Manager at the Alpadia Language Camp in London. In this position, I was responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all campers, managing a team of staff, coordinating daily schedules, resolving conflicts, and liaising with parents. It was a role that that thoroughly improved my communication, leadership, and organizational skills, and I found it incredibly fulfilling to create a positive, nurturing environment for both staff and students. In addition to my camp experience, I’ve done a significant amount of babysitting, particularly with children with special needs, including those with Down syndrome, autism, and non-verbal communication styles. These experiences have taught me to be patient, empathetic, and attentive, and I always aim to create a calm, supportive, and joyful environment tailored to each child's unique needs. When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me outdoors. I absolutely love being active—whether it’s playing lacrosse, football, Gaelic football, swimming, or hiking. I’m always seeking out new experiences and adventures, and I thrive when I’m surrounded by nature and movement. Another one of my passions is cooking. I love spending time in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, trying out dishes from different cultures, and cooking nutritious meals for friends and family. I’d be delighted to share that joy in your home, whether it’s preparing meals for the kids or baking together as a fun afternoon activity. Overall, I’m a warm, dependable, and energetic person who genuinely enjoys caring for and connecting with children. I bring a strong work ethic, a sense of fun, and a commitment to creating a safe, loving, and enriching environment. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions—I’d be more than happy to chat! Warm regards, Bríd Madden

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

Hello/Bonjour families, My name is Oceane, I am 29 years old and originally from France. I am currently an Au Pair in Clovelly and studying a Certificate III and Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. My Availability are : • Tuesday: Between 9 AM and 3 PM • Wednesday: Between 9 AM and 3 PM • Thursday: Between 9 AM and 5 PM • Friday: After 4 PM • Weekend and evening available I have been nannying regularly since I was 18 years old, always alongside my studies, which has given me many years of consistent, hands-on experience with children of different ages (specialy babies and toddlers). I was a nanny for a lovely 5 month old boy (age when I started) and a lovely 2yo girl during my first year in Sydney. I spent a year and a half in the United States as an Au Pair, where I cared for three children (5 months, 2.5 years, and 6.5 years old at the time of my arrival) for one year, and then for a 7-month-old baby in another family for six months. This experience was incredibly enriching and sparked my strong interest in child development. I then moved to New Zealand for 15 months, where I worked as a nanny for three main families, caring for children between 1 and 2 years old. One of the 2-year-olds welcomed a baby sister, giving me the opportunity to care for a newborn and support her development until she was 5 months old. I am now based in Sydney, where I continue to work as a nanny for wonderful families. I am studying Early Childhood Education and Care, as I am planning to build my long-term career in this field, ideally becoming a Play Therapist or working in education. I am caring, reliable, and attentive to each child’s individual needs. I make it a priority to take children outdoors every day and organize engaging activities such as playgroups, museum visits, music classes, library trips, and other fun and educational experiences suited to their age and interests. I would be happy to provide my CV and references upon request. I would love to find a family with whom I can build a strong and lasting relationship. I look forward to hearing from you. A bientôt, Océane
