Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, I’m Kate from Mosman — a proud mother of three wonderful children aged 16, 15, and 12, all currently attending private school. As a mum myself, I understand the importance of creating a safe, nurturing, fun, and supportive environment for children of all ages. My professional background is in science, and I currently own and operate a hair salon in Neutral Bay, which has strengthened my communication, responsibility, time management, and people skills immensely. Beyond my career, my true passion has always been children. I genuinely adore kids and am pursuing babysitting because I truly enjoy spending time with them and helping families feel supported. I have hands-on experience with children of all ages and personalities, from little ones to teenagers. I am extremely reliable, trustworthy, patient, and caring, and I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident leaving their children in safe hands. I also have a chatty for children.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! I am a Career Nanny with over 25 years experience in childcare. Over the past two decades I have worked as Nanny/ Governess/ English Teacher/ Maternity Nanny (depending on the families requirements) all around the world. I started out in Australia as a live-in nanny and an agency babysitter, then moved over to the UK/Europe and Russia to more high-profile jobs over the next couple of decades. And later I came back to Australia and worked with families in Sydney and also did evenings with an agency as a babysitter. One of my most recent nanny placements was 2 years in Singapore with a wonderful ex pat family and their young daughter where I also did proxy parenting whilst they were travelling. I have recently relocated back to Sydney and working as a part time nanny for a lovely family. I am looking for a long-term position with 8+ hour days. In the meanwhile I happy support a family with any temp or any ad hoc positions. Thanks! Please do get in touch if you are interested to talk about any position you think I may be interested in. I am open and flexible. I will reply promptly. On a personal note: I'm very friendly, fun, professional, youthful, optimistic, flexible, reliable, easy-going (disciplined when needed!), responsible, tidy and very experienced at my job. I love all ages of children, their development and education and inspiring them to be their very best. I love animals also. I have a car and clean drivers licence. Plus, I cook & hold a Nutrition Diploma and continuing study in the area of holistic health and wellbeing (for children and adults). Over the years my secondary career has been Personal Assistant in Law, Accounting & Film Production. Thanks for reading! I look forward to hearing from you.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I live in Mosman, I have my own car with a clean driving record. After graduating from University, I worked in advertising as a media investment manager for 25 years. During that time, I also cared for children of all ages, part-time, some right through from babyhood till early teens. I found this deeply rewarding and decided to do it full time. In December 2024, I finished up with the family I worked with for 5 years as the 2 children reached an age where they need to be more independent & could be managed remotely. Prior this, to the end of 2019, I closely worked with 3 families as a Nanny/Babysitter including After School Care. This sadly ended when 2 of the family's children started high school, whilst the 3rd family 'escaped to the country'. I am reliable, organized, caring and patient. I pride myself in providing a nurturing environment where children feel happy and safe. I enjoy spending quality time with children engaged in creative activities such as drawing, building lego, reading or baking and helping with homework. I enjoy cooking, preparing nutritious meals and am experienced with difficult eaters. I have a deep affection for animals. If this sounds like the kind of person you are looking for, I'd be delighted to hear from you.

I just love kids!! I am a mature, loving, gentle, fun and responsible carer. I have been caring for children for over 25 years and am experienced with all ages. I have taught in Pre-school, Long Day Care, created an after-school care program, and been Nannying for several years, and have been babysitting since I was 15. In recent years my focus has been on After School Care, supervising homework, and some tutoring. I am passionate about education and am very consistent and firm, but also caring and kind. I think routine is very important, and I believe in encouraging independence in children, which builds confidence. As I have studied nutrition over the years for my own interest, I believe I have a good knowledge of childrens' nutritional requirements, and feel it is very important. I have worked with several children who have food intolerances and allergies. I love music and dance, arts and crafts. I enjoy extra-curricular activities, sports and always encourage children if there is an interest. I believe a carer is an integral part of a family and enjoy getting to know the whole family. I am available for afternoon Care from 1pm, and evening babysitting. My preference is for a 4 or 5 hr minimum as I can arrive early to do laundry, meal prep etc. for ASC. I love dogs and would be happy to walk your dog before picking up the kids... Or care for your animals while you are away. I have a reliable vehicle and an impeccable driving record. I have WWCC, first aid and several excellent references I am a spiritual person, with pure motivation and put my heart and soul into all my work.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there, my name is Emika and I am a 37 year old female born and bred on the Northern Beaches. I have been a flight attendant with Virgin Australia for the past 15 years. Prior to this, I was a tennis coach for about 3 years casually and then 3 years full time after having competed through my teenage years. I was very likeable by the kids I coached and through that gained numerous babysitting jobs for those kids. I also used to work during the school holidays running tennis camps where the kids were in my care Monday-Friday 9am-3pm. Working at Virgin, I am constantly helping parents take care of children and infants who travel with them. I have also gained a few babysitting jobs through work colleagues at Virgin. I was stood down in my position at Virgin from March 2020 to January 2021 due to Covid. During this time, I gained numerous babysitting/nannying and housework help jobs. I am stood back up now but currently on ground duties which is more predictable and stable. I am happy to help casually wherever/whenever I can. I always take pride in what I do and ensure I am able to do things to the best of my ability. It feels so rewarding to help people and do a good job doing it. I love seeing children happy and being able to make them smile/laugh. How I treat children is how I would treat my own that I hope to have some time in the near future. With my experience, I have high expectations of myself and you can expect me to always come to work committed to make positive impacts. I love the outdoors and like to eat healthily so have no trouble passing that on to your children should you require that. I have a mini dachshunds so would be fine with animals around. Also happy to help out with around the house chores, dog walking, shopping etc. if neeed be to ease your workload looking after children. I have a full Australian drivers license and WWCC. Every year at Virgin we undertake a first aid and CPR course and every 2 years, we must renew our national security I.D. which means they run a police check on us. If there are any charges or infringements, we would not be able to renew. This has never happened to me in over 14 years. Am also triple vaccinated Looking forward to hearing from you. Ps: please ignore the 1 star. I don’t know how it got there, I’m yet to get a job through here and I contacted the management and they said they can’t remove it as they took over from a previous management. Promise I’m a 5 star!

Hi there! My name is Emily, and I am a Museum Educator for Museums of History NSW. I work across 9 sites in Greater Sydney running history excursions for students of all ages. I have a Bachelors in Ancient History, and a Masters in Museum Studies - however, I have gone back to uni this year to learn more about how Education can be made more inclusive and engaging! I have been lucky enough to travel across the world on archaeological digs throughout my university degrees. At the moment, I run excursions for over 68,000 children per year across our sites at Museums of History - both online and in person. I am well-versed in behaviour management, including children with additional needs. Over the past few years I have completed ad-hoc nannying and babysitting for a few families, and additionally was a dance teacher for just over a year for pre-school aged children - I know how hard it is to manage a classroom of 10+ 3/4-year-olds! I have worked with children aged from 15 months to 14 years, and having grown up in a household with four younger brothers, I am confident in my abilities to engage and connect with children of any age. I believe in fostering imaginative, creative, and fun play - and love to laugh and explore with kids. Looking forward to hearing from you and connecting with your family!
