Meet Kerry: A nanny and babysitter in North Shore, NSW

Hi there!

I've been blessed to have had more than 2 decades as a Career Nanny all around the world -Turkey, Russia, Sweden, Germany, Spain, Singapore, the UK and Australia, working with families from many different cultures and backgrounds.

I have extensive experience with children, from newborns through to teenagers. My roles have included sole-charge nanny, governess, maternity nanny, English tutor, proxy parent, agency babysitter and holiday nanny. I have worked with private families, high-profile families with staff and security, and through babysitting agencies in London and Australia.

I am friendly, professional, reliable, organised, fun, efficient, adaptable and a great communicator. I settle into new environments quickly, respect family routines and bring fun, energy and enthusiasm to my days with children. I love encouraging children’s curiosity, confidence and learning, and enjoy getting out and about to parks, libraries, educational activities and places where children can explore and have fun.

Having recently returned to Sydney, I have been working in a combination of ongoing and temporary nanny roles. I am open to discussing full-time or part-time opportunities that fit with my availability and experience. Ideally, I am looking for longer working days of 8+ hours, whether that be one full-time role or two part-time positions. I am flexible and happy to discuss arrangements that work well for both the family and myself.

I hold a Diploma in Nutrition and have a strong interest in children’s health, wellbeing and education. I am happy to cook, assist with household organisation and support the routines that help family life run smoothly.

Alongside my nanny career, I have worked for many years as a Personal Assistant in legal, accounting and film production. I am confident combining nanny and PA responsibilities, including administration, managing travel, household management, children’s schedules and other organisational tasks required to support busy families.

I have my own car, a clean driver's licence and I love animals.
