About us

We’ve both worked full time and needed nannies since the eldest was 6 months (11 years ago). We’ve only had 4 nannies during that time (5 years, 5 years, 6 months and 1 year), as we have treated them with respect and given them the autonomy to do their job without fussing and intervening. You will be in charge while you are in the house.

• Days and hours – Monday to Friday, 3:30pm – 6:30pm.
• Main duties
o Collect two of the kids from the bus stop (a walk from the house) on Tuesday and Thursday.
o Collect kids in car from Kincoppal Rose Bay School three times per week (Monday,Wed,Friday).
o Help the kids start their homework
o Cook dinner (must be able to cook healthy meals)
o Clean up after dinner
• Other items of note
o Light household duties such as putting on washing and hanging to dry, cleaning up dishes from the kids meals, light sweeping. We have a cleaner that cleans the house once a fortnight, so this is more maintenance cleaning.
o If we are late home, the kids can generally look after themselves if you leave by 7pm.
o The requirement is for the school term only, but as we work full time we will likely need some additional help during holidays, which you will decide whether you can assist with or not.
