We’re a warm, busy family looking for a brilliant nanny to join us in a long term role. This year is big for us - a new baby arriving in April, a thriving 4 y.o. girl and growing work commitments. We’re looking for a calm, capable carer who loves being genuinely helpful and a key part of a family rhythm. We’re offering a permanent part-time role with super and annual leave.
About us:
39 y.o Mum (Australian) CEO/Business Owner, 41 y.o Dad (Swedish/Australian) Full-time Finance Professional.
Respectful, organised, flexible, clean and tidy, non-smokers
4-year-old daughter: happy, healthy, kind & confident
This role is a mix of childcare + household support so our days run smoothly.
Caring for our 4 y.o on Tues/Thurs (at home and outings to library, park, swimming, crafts etc)
On Mon/Wed she is at Kinder - Light household help on these days. We have a weekly cleaner but need general house keeping help: Kitchen tidy, Laundry, Simple family lunch prep/Marley Spoon dinner prep.
We’re walking distance to shops, parks, the beach, and kinder. Drivers license and own car a plus, but not essential.
Once baby arrives/supporting Mum to return to work gradually:
• Mum works in her own business so return to work is flexible
• Gradual transition to caring for baby independently from approx 3 months old
• From end of the year, caring for both children at times as Mum increases work hours
What we’re looking for:
Experienced nanny (baby experience essential)
Calm, capable, proactive
Comfortable with newborns and toddlers
Enjoys keeping a home ticking along
First Aid training
Reliable
Looking for a long-term role, not a short stint
Start date: Flexible
Days: 4 days per week, Monday - Thursday preferred but flexible.
Proposed Weekly schedule
• Mon/Wed: 8am–2pm
• Tue/Thurs: 8am–5pm
