Long Term Family Nanny | Willoughby

We are a warm family based in Willoughby seeking a kind, calm and experienced nanny to become an important and valued part of our family long term.

We have two young boys - a 3.5 year old who thrives with consistency, patience and gentle support, and a younger baby who turns one in July. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys building strong connections with children and creating a calm, secure and nurturing environment.

This role would suit someone who is emotionally intuitive, dependable, grounded and looking for a long-term position with a family who values and respects the role deeply.

ABOUT THE ROLE

* 2 consistent days per week initially (with potential for additional hours over time)

* Full-day care in our home

* Primarily focused on childcare, emotional support and maintaining a calm daily rhythm

* Supporting naps, meals, outings, play and age-appropriate activities

* Occasional local outings including parks, library, walks and activities

This is not a heavy housekeeping role. We already have external cleaning support in place. We are looking for someone whose primary focus is the children and creating a steady, positive presence in their lives.

Light child-related tasks only, such as:

* preparing children’s meals/snacks

* tidying play spaces after use

* children’s laundry if time permits

ABOUT YOU

We are ideally looking for someone who:

* has experience caring for babies and toddlers/preschoolers

* is calm, patient and emotionally mature

* values consistency and routine

* is warm and engaging without being overstimulating

* is reliable and committed to building a long-term relationship with our family

* is comfortable supporting a child with additional emotional/sensory needs (experience highly regarded but not essential for the right person)

* has excellent references, WWCC and first aid certification

We would love to find someone who sees nannying as more than just supervision, and who takes pride in becoming a trusted and steady part of family life over time.

Competitive hourly rate offered for the right person based on experience.
