We’re looking for a lovely, reliable and engaging nanny to spend time with our 2.5-year-old son.
Location: West Pennant Hills
Days: 2 days per week, Monday–Thursday (days flexible)
Hours: 9:00am–1:00pm
About our son
Our son is a happy, active and social 2.5-year-old who loves playing, exploring, being outdoors and interacting with people.
We speak Persian at home, and we’re looking for someone who enjoys naturally speaking English with him through play and everyday activities.
Main responsibilities
- Preparing and serving breakfast and snacks
- Preparing/warming up simple meals, vegetables and sides
- Simple meal preparation such as pasta, marinating meat/fish, etc.
- Changing nappies and helping with meals
- Taking our son to the park and other age-appropriate activities
- Creative play, sensory activities and reading
- Actively engaging him through play and conversation
- Following his routine and helping with nap time
- Keeping his bedroom, toys and play areas tidy
- Children’s laundry
- Loading/unloading the dishwasher
- Tidying the kitchen after preparing or serving meals
- Light tidying and vacuuming of his play areas
- Other reasonable, child-related household tasks as needed
🛑 We are a no-screen-time household, so we’re looking for someone happy to keep activities screen-free.

About you
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, responsible, kind and patient
- Caring, energetic and genuinely enjoys spending time with toddlers
- Confident and enthusiastic about engaging a toddler through play, conversation and activities
- Comfortable speaking English with a child who is learning English
- Creative and confident with age-appropriate activities
- Comfortable following routines
- Happy to help with light child-related household tasks
- Ideally experienced with toddlers
First Aid/CPR and WWCC preferred.
