We are a warm and welcoming family based in Redfern/Surry Hills and we’re looking for a reliable and caring nanny to support our two children during weekday afternoons. Our two kids (6 and 5 years old) are super sweet, fun, energetic.
Hours:
* Monday & Tuesday: 12:00pm – 3:00pm
* Thursday & Friday: 12:00pm – 5:00pm
Duties include:
* School pickup for our son at 12pm
* Supporting light homeschooling/learning activities in the afternoon
* School pickup for our daughter at 3pm (Thurs–Fri only)
* Caring for both children until 5pm (Thurs–Fri)
* Light snack preparation and general supervision
* Meal preparation / light household duties
About our family:
Our son is neurodiverse, so we are looking for someone patient, understanding and supportive. Experience with neurodiverse children is highly valued, or experience in education, but we also warmly welcome applicants who are open, willing to learn, and have a kind and adaptable approach.
We are looking for someone who:
* Is reliable and punctual
* Available for a Term 2 start (April 20th)
* Has a genuine love of working with children
* Is calm, patient, and engaging
* Has (or is willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check
