Mother's Helper/Part-Time Babysitter

We're looking for a dependable mother's helper to support our family and care for children ages 9 and 6 with light household support.

• Approximately 10–12 hours per week across 3–4 days.

• Weekday hours include school pickup into early evening.

• Occasional evening babysitting, approximately 1–2 times per month.

• Specific days and times to be agreed upon.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, age-appropriate care for the children, including play, activities, and support with daily routines.

• Pick up from school on scheduled weekdays and ensure safe transportation home and to/from activities.

• Help prepare snacks and dinner.

• Assist with light household chores, including tidying, cleaning up after meals and activities, and laundry.

• Run occasional errands as needed.

Ideal Candidate

• Warm, patient, reliable, and comfortable caring for school-aged children.

• Previous childcare or babysitting experience and references.

• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

• Comfortable helping with simple food preparation and light household tasks.

• Clear communicator who follows family routines and prioritizes safety.

• Takes initiatives on tasks to be completed.

• First-aid qualified
