Family Assistant / Nanny-Housekeeper

Job Title: Family Assistant / Nanny-Housekeeper (20 Hours Per Week)

Location: Cremorne Point, Sydney

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day (Ideal hours: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM)

Pay Rate: $40 – $45 per hour (negotiable based on experience and qualifications)

About Our Family

We are a busy family living in Cremorne Point looking for an organised, proactive, and reliable Family Assistant to help keep our home running smoothly. We have three girls aged 6, 12 and 16 who are at school during the day. We are looking for someone who loves creating an organised environment and enjoys cooking healthy food for families.

Core Responsibilities

Home Organisation & Tidying: Daily reset of the main living areas, kitchen, and children’s bedrooms (putting toys away, sorting clothes, making beds). Please note: This is a tidying and organisation role, not a heavy deep-cleaning job.

Meal Preparation: Plan and cook a nutritious, kid-friendly evening meal each day. This includes cleaning up the kitchen post-cooking.

Afternoon Routine Setup: Ensure the home is calm, tidy, and dinner is ready or well underway before the evening rush.

What We Are Looking For

Experience: Previous experience in a similar role (Family Assistant, Nanny-Housekeeper, or Private Cook).

Skills: Strong home organisational skills and the ability to cook simple, healthy, fresh meals that appeal to kids.

Attributes: Proactive self-starter who can see what needs to be done without constant direction. Reliable, punctual, and discrete.

Compliance: Must hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and a recent National Police Check (or be willing to obtain them).

Logistics: Non-smoker. Valid driver’s license and own car preferred.
