The role:
Caring for our 3 year old 1 day a week and after school pick up for 2 children
Tuesday: 3:00pm - 6:30pm
Wednesday 3:00pm - 6:30pm
Thursday 3:00pm - 6:30pm
Rate: $30/hour
About the Role:
We would love someone to join our family to help care for our 3.5-year-old and assist with our two school-aged children. We are looking for a long-term fit who is caring, kind, and patient.
The Schedule:
Mondays: Care for our 3.5-year-old (Daytime hours).
3 Days a Week (Tues, Wed, Thurs afternoons): After-school pick-up for the older children.
About Us:
We are a family of 3 children and 1 dog. Our children are caring, responsible little people who love the outdoors, reading books, completing puzzles, and drawing.
Duties:
Toddler Care: Engaging with our 3.5-year-old on Mondays.
School Pick-up: We live a short walk from the school (so a car is not essential). You would collect the older children, walk them home, and get them settled.
Afternoon Routine: Preparing an afternoon snack and helping with homework.
Light Duties: If time permits, helping wash and pack the lunchboxes, getting the childrens dinner started (though not essential).
About You:
The ideal candidate is caring, kind, and patient above all else. We are looking for someone with:
Minimum 1–2 years of experience with children.
Reliability and strong communication skills.
A genuine love for spending time with kids.
This role would suit a university student looking for part-time work or a professional seeking complementary hours.
