Hi,
We are looking for a lovely Household & Family Helper to join our little family in Wavell Heights from Monday, 7 September.
The role is around 6 hours per week, with:
• Mondays: 10am–2pm
• Thursdays: 10am–12pm
The role is mostly helping us keep on top of our home and life, with things like:
• Washing, folding and putting clothes away
• General tidying and resetting the house
• Groceries, dry cleaning and the odd errand
• Meal prep and other bits and pieces as needed
Our two-year-old son, usually naps from around 12–2pm on Mondays. During that time I work from my home office, so we are looking for someone who can keep an ear out while he sleeps and spend time with him if he wakes before 2pm. Most Mondays I will be working from home, but occasionally I may need to duck into my office for a meeting (it's only about 10 minutes away), so we are looking for someone who is comfortable caring for him during that time.
We are hoping to find someone who is warm, reliable, proactive and organised, and who genuinely enjoys helping a busy family. Previous experience as a nanny, household helper or in a similar role would be wonderful, but the right personality and initiative are the biggest things for us.
A driver's licence and your own car are preferred, as some tasks involve running errands.
Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
There may also be the occasional opportunity for some extra hours if it suits both of us, but the regular role is around 6 hours per week.
