We are looking for a new permanent full-time nanny to provide care primarily to our younger son who is 3.5yrs old. Our current nanny of more than two years is moving onto a new administrative role. We also have an older boy who is 7.5yrs old and attends school full time. The role is for Monday to Friday. Hours are generally 7.30am starts to 5.50-6pm and some flexibility is required as we are both medical professionals. Fridays can be an earlier finish of about 4pm.
Our employment arrangement is a permanent full-time contract with set hourly rate of $40-44/hr (depending on qualifications and experience) plus superannuation, annual and sick leave entitlements.
Our younger son attends a local kinder program Mon-Thurs 9-12 so we would expect some light housework including basic meal prep, light laundry and tidying assistance.
Our older son has intellectual disability, is non-verbal and attends a special school. He has scheduled after-school activities 4 days a week. He is physically healthy.
We need someone keen and willing to learn to support our older son with disability but specific experience is not essential. We are hoping to find someone long term to be part of our support network for our family and would love to chat further to anyone interested in the role.
