We are looking for a kind, considerate, and experienced helper for our sweet 7-month-old boy in Mermaid Waters. This is a part-time role for approx 21 hours per week.
This is a collaborative role where you will team up with Mum at home to provide a supportive extra pair of hands, as well as care for the baby independently while Mum attends various external appointments.
The required hours are Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30am to 4:30pm, and Thursday from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
We are offering an hourly rate of $35 negotiable based on your experience.
Your primary focus will be childcare, which includes feeding, making bottles, settling for naps, and playtime. During the baby's downtime, we need someone who understands how a household runs and can proactively step in to help with basic tasks like light meal prep, the daily dishes, and putting on a load of washing. Please note that we already employ professional cleaners for the heavy housework.
We are looking for a trustworthy, proactive individual with genuine experience caring for infants. A current First Aid and CPR certificate is highly preferred, and you must be a non-smoker.
