Full-Time Nanny / Housekeeper / Family Assistant

Oatlands, NSW | Monday–Friday | Long-Term Position

We are a busy family based in Oatlands looking for a warm, reliable and highly organised Nanny / Housekeeper / Family Assistant to become a long-term part of our household.

We currently have three children aged 7, 4 and 1, with another baby on the way. Our children attend school, preschool or childcare during the week, and Mum is generally at home most days.

This is a genuine hybrid role. We are not looking for someone who only wants to nanny or only wants to clean. We would love to find someone who enjoys working with children but is equally comfortable taking responsibility for keeping a busy family home clean, organised and running smoothly.

The Role

Children & Family

- School and childcare drop-offs and pick-ups

- Taking children to their regular extracurricular activities

- Caring for the children when required

- Preparing children's meals and snacks

- Helping with bags, uniforms and preparation for the following day

- Keeping children's bedrooms, play areas and belongings organised

- Assisting Mum with the children when everyone is home

- Providing additional support when our new baby arrives

Our children have a number of regular activities during the week, including basketball, coding, swimming, gymnastics, dancing, piano, chess and guitar, so helping with the logistics of a busy family schedule is an important part of the position.

Housekeeping

While the children are at school or childcare, the focus shifts primarily to the home, including:

- General household cleaning and tidying

- Laundry, folding and putting clothes away

- Changing and making beds

- Keeping wardrobes and household areas organised

- Kitchen cleaning and general upkeep

- Meal preparation

- Grocery shopping

- Household errands

- Keeping children's items, school bags and activity equipment organised

- General family assistance as required

Who We're Looking For

The right person will be:

- Warm, patient and confident with young children

- Genuinely comfortable with housekeeping and cleaning

- Reliable and punctual

- Highly organised

- Proactive and able to see what needs doing without always being asked

- Comfortable working alongside a parent who is often at home

- A confident and safe driver

- Looking for a stable, long-term position with one family

Previous nanny, housekeeping, family assistant or household-management experience would be highly regarded.

A driver's licence, Working With Children Check and strong references are required.

Hours & Remuneration

This is intended to be a full-time Monday–Friday position. We have some flexibility around the exact start and finish times for the right person.

Remuneration will be competitive and based on experience.
