My name is Chris and I live in St James. I’m looking for a kind, patient and reliable person to care for my two boys, aged 9 and 11, on Mondays and Tuesdays. Both boys attend East Vic Park Primary School.
Malachi, aged 9
Malachi needs to be picked up from East Vic Park Primary School at 3:00 pm on both days and cared for until approximately 5:30 pm.
Cyprus, aged 11
Cyprus has chronic widespread pain syndrome, so his school attendance can vary depending on how he is feeling.
On Mondays, he usually starts school at 10:40 am and will hopefully stay until 3:00 pm. However, some days he may be unable to attend or may need to come home early.
At present, Cyprus usually does not attend school on Tuesdays. I’m looking for someone who can provide him with positive, stimulating company and gently encourage activities and interaction, as he can become withdrawn when he is by himself for too long.
Approximate hours
* Monday: 9:00–11:00 am and 2:30–5:30 pm
* Some Mondays may require care from 9:00 am–5:30 pm, depending on Cyprus’s health and school attendance
* Tuesday: 9:00 am–5:30 pm
The right person will need to be understanding, flexible and comfortable supporting a child with changing needs. Experience with children and a caring, patient nature are important.
