Short term assignment in Brighton east

Tuesdays & Wednesdays, 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM (10 hours/week, plus occasional weekend assistance)

About Us

We are a warm and active family in Brighton East looking for an organized, energetic, and reliable nanny/household helper for our afternoons on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We are looking for someone who wants a long-term role to become a consistent, trusted part of our routine.

We have two young girls: Sophie (3.5) and Isabelle (1). Sophie is sweet, imaginative, and creative, while Isabelle is bright, bubbly, and full of fun!

We also have an 11-year-old stepson who is with us on a week-on, week-off basis. He is mainly self-sufficient, but gentle encouragement to get his homework done is always appreciated.

Our primary need is someone who can jump into our afternoon routine—balancing fun, active care for the younger girls with practical household help to keep things running smoothly.

The Role & Responsibilities:

This position is a blend of engaging toddler care and essential household support. Keeping Sophie (3.5) and Isabelle (1) engaged with fun, age-appropriate activities (arts & crafts, outdoor play, storytime) and guiding them through their afternoon and bedtime routines.

Household Support:

- Unstacking the dishwasher

- Folding and putting away laundry

- Keeping play areas tidy and

- Managing lunchboxes/water bottles

Requirements

Commitment: Looking for a long-term arrangement (ideally 12+ months).

Experience: Strong background caring for toddlers/infants and managing household tasks (references required).

Certifications & Vetting: Current First Aid & CPR certifications, a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC), and a recent Police Check.
