We are a warm, busy professional family looking for a reliable, confident nanny to assist with our two children, aged 6 and 7, before and after school.
This role would suit a responsible university student or an experienced nanny who enjoys working with school‑aged children and values routine and responsibility. Our previous nanny was with us for six years and is retiring, so we are looking for someone we can trust and work with long‑term. The role would suit someone who lives locally to Armadale.
Shifts available:
• Mornings: 6:30 AM – 9:30 AM
• Afternoons: 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM
We are happy to consider applicants who can do mornings only, afternoons only, or ideally both. Monday mornings, Tuesday mornings and afternoons, Thursday mornings and afternoons are currently availble but we are flexible for the right candidate.
Responsibilities include:
Morning routine
• Prepare and serve breakfast
• Prepare healthy lunchboxes
• Help the children get dressed and ready for school
• School drop‑off to schools within 3 km of our home
Afternoon / evening routine
• School pick‑up from schools within 3 km
• Unpack and organise school bags
• Prepare and serve dinner
• Bath time and evening routine
• Supervise homework
Household tasks (essential part of the role):
• Grocery shopping
• Laundry and general household tidying (we have a cleaner attend weekly)
• Helping maintain routines and order related to the children

Our children are confident, affectionate, and engaging. Manners, consistency, and routine are very important to our family. We are looking for someone who is calm, enthusiastic, and confident with children, and who can become a reassuring presence when we are not home.
Requirements:
• Responsible, reliable, and organised
• Own car and confident driving children
• Experience with children (formal or informal)
• Positive, confident manner
Remuneration:
• Attractive hourly rate, negotiable depending on experience
• Travel allowance paid in addition to hourly rate
