We’re looking for a nanny to take care of our 11-month-old boy while I return to work. We follow a gentle parenting approach and value a reliable, energetic nanny who can keep our active 11-month-old happily engaged and stimulated through play, books, music, and outings.
Position Details:
- Hours: 9am-5:30pm, 3 days a week (Wed-Fri)
- Pay: $35-40ph, depending on experience level. Handled via a service like Nanny Pay.
- Start date: Early May
- Location: Chatswood (walking distance to station)
- Dad works from home all days, and mum works from home 2/3 days a week, so must be comfortable with that.
Responsibilities :
- Nurturing and engaging care for our 11‑month‑old (playtime, songs, reading, outings to the park or library).
- Preparing and feeding lunch, dinner and bottles.
- Managing naps (currently, two naps a day).
- Light household tasks during nap time such as emptying and packing the dishwasher, wiping kitchen surfaces, cleaning the high chair, and tidying up the kids’ play area. No heavy housework is required; the focus is on taking care of our baby!
Requirements:
- Proven experience with babies/toddlers under 2 years old.
- 2-3 reliable references
- Current WWC, police check and first aid certification
- Bonus: German language skills, as we are raising our boy bilingual.
- No driving required - everything is within walking distance.
