We’re a warm, energetic family of four looking for our next wonderful au pair to become part of our home and help us navigate the beautiful chaos of work and family life.
We’ve had great experiences hosting au pairs before (one for 18 months and our most recent for 6 months), and we truly value building a supportive, respectful relationship.
About us:
Two kids: Mason (5, Prep) and Lola (8, Grade 3) – fun, active, and full of personality
One small, very friendly labradoodle named Honey
Mum is American, Dad is Aussie (regional), and we don’t have family nearby
Both parents work full-time in demanding roles with occasional travel
What we need help with:
School pick-up every day and drop-off 2-3 days per week (walking distance)
Taking the kids to afternoon activities (driving required)
Preparing snacks and lunchboxes
Cooking dinner 2 nights per week
Light household tidying (we have a cleaner)
Babysitting one evening per week
Optional extra babysitting and school holiday support (paid additionally and agreed in advance)
What we’re looking for:
Experience with children (essential)
Confident cooking skills
Full driver’s license + confidence driving on the left side of the road
Someone warm, reliable, and proactive
A positive presence who can bring fun, calmness, and kindness into our home
