Seeking experienced Nanny for 10mth old, 3-4 days

Hi there,

We are looking for a Nanny to support my return from Maternity Leave next May, at which time our baby girl will be 10 months old. Given the important role you will play in our lives - and our daughter's life - we are looking for someone is experienced, trustworthy and that we can treat as part of our extended family. Hourly rate negotiable based on experience and duties.

About you:

We are looking for someone with experience Nannying a newborn/s and strong parent references who can manage the day to day care of our daughter at our home in Northcote (no car required) - managing feeding, play and naps.

We will also require support with simple food prep (for our baby's meals) and basic tidying eg packing up toys or activities from the day, dishes and unpacking dishwasher (if needed) however no other home duties required.

Essential:

- Paediatric first aid

- Previous experience Nannying young babies

- References

- WWCC and police check

- All vaccinations up to date

- Reliable and great communicator

At this stage we will need care 3-4 days/week. We hope to do some trials ahead of May start date, and have someone confirmed in the role by March next year.

- Happy newborn with a content demeanour and in a good sleep and feeding routine

- All vaccines are up to date

My name is Sophie (44) and my husband is Jacob (35). We welcomed our daughter, Valerie, in July this year after a very lengthy and complex fertility journey. She has been the little miracle we were hoping for and she is a ray of sunshine in our lives. Jacob and I are both passionate about family and friends, travel, healthy living and we enjoy our respective careers. We both work in hybrid roles (3 days in office, 2 days at home) so one of us will often be home working from the front office on alternating days.

About our home:

Our home is a lovely light-filled and carefully curated space to spend the day, with a small back yard and lawn. Heating/cooling and well equipped kitchen for your use. Easy pram walks to plenty of local parks, cafes and ammenities nearby, too.
