Part Time ongoing Housekeeper / Nanny – Newport
We're looking for a reliable, organised and proactive person to support our busy family in Newport.
This is an ongoing role for someone who enjoys creating calm, organised homes and is confident supporting school aged children.
* 4 days per week
* Approximately 3 hours per day (morning)
* $40 per hour, ABN preferred
THE ROLE
Your focus will be on keeping the household running smoothly, running errands for the parents.
DUTIES INCLUDE
Managing weekly cleaner
Managing gardener and other trades
Coordinating clothes management, ironing, wardrobe maintenance
Making beds each morning
Loading breakfast dishes into the dishwasher and leaving the kitchen tidy
Preparing school uniforms for the following day
Preparing school lunches/morning tea
Keeping the childrens upstairs living areas organised, including:
- Two bedrooms
- Two bathrooms
- TV/rumpus area
- Kids study area
SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
During school holiday periods, the role will include caring for our two school aged children.
ADDITIONAL HOURS
There may also be opportunities for additional hours to assist with after school care when required, so flexibility would be highly regarded.
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for someone who
- Is trustworthy, reliable and takes initiative.
- Has experience working with children and families.
- Is organised and has an eye for detail.
- Holds a Working with Children Check.
- Has a current driver's licence and own vehicle (preferred).
