We are a kind and welcoming family looking for an experienced, reliable and nurturing Nanny. We are ideally looking for someone who will be with our family long-term and will build a positive and trusting relationship with our children.
Who you would be caring for:
A happy 2year old boy and a very settled 6month old girl
Where:
Surrey Hills (near train station and bus stop)
What the job involves:
We have lots of grandparent support available so the job would mainly involve caring for the 2year old for the rest of the year (until he goes to Kinder) and then caring for the little girl from 2027 onwards.
Specific duties would include:
- Caring for the children (including age-appropriate play and activities eg local playgroup, trips to the park)
- Supporting naps, routines, feeds and daily care
- Preparing meals and snacks (not dinner) and cleaning up afterwards if possible
When:
Monday from 8am-6pm (longer hours desirable but not essential)
Other days/hours flexible – Ideally 3 days a week (Wednesdays preferable)
How much:
$40/hr+ (rate negotiable for the right candidate – we value good care!)
Who we are looking for:
- Experienced (ideally a career nanny) and confident caring for toddlers and infants
- Professional and reliable (parents work in healthcare and cannot cancel work easily)
- Mature, calm and patient
- Organised and trustworthy
- Proactive and energetic
- Good communicator
