Experienced Nanny Needed – Kew (Monday 8am-2pm + Ongoing Casual Support)
We are a friendly family based in Kew looking for an experienced nanny to care for our happy and curious 14 month-old son.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves working with toddlers and is excited to be an active part of our son’s development.
We would particularly love someone who enjoys supporting early communication through play, reading, singing, outdoor adventures and everyday interactions.
Our ideal nanny is animated, warm, patient, engaging. Someone who isn’t afraid to get down on the floor, be silly, sing songs and make learning fun. We’d also value someone who is proactive, reliable and happy to work collaboratively with us to maintain a consistent routine.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing attentive, nurturing care
* Supporting our son’s communication and developmental milestones through play-based activities
* Preparing healthy meals and snacks for him
* Taking him on local outings (parks, library, music classes, etc.)
* Light household duties eg tidying, folding
We’re looking for someone with:
* Experience caring for infants or toddlers
* A genuine interest in early childhood development (experience in early childhood education or speech and language development is highly regarded)
* A current Working with Children Check
* Current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain) * Excellent references
* A driver’s licence essential
