After School & Thursday Nanny/Carer Wanted – Alton

We're looking for a warm, reliable and energetic carer to join our family and look after our two wonderful kids.

**Days & Hours:**

* **Monday:** 3:00pm – 6:00pm

* **Tuesday:** 3:00pm – 6:00pm

* **Thursday:** 8:30am – 6:00pm

Your responsibilities

**Monday & Tuesday**

* School pick-up for our 6-year-old (and care for both children after school)

* Prepare and serve afternoon snacks

* Play, supervise and keep the kids engaged until we get home

* Create a safe, happy and caring environment

**Thursday**

* Care for our fun and active 4-year-old throughout the day

* Enjoy local outings around Altona, such as the library, parks and other age-appropriate activities

* School pick-up for our 6-year-old at 3:15pm (approximately a 600m walk from home—we usually walk)

* Prepare afternoon snacks and supervise both children until 6:00pm

* Light household tasks while the 4-year-old is occupied or resting, including:

* General tidying

* Vacuuming

* Ironing

About our family

We have two great kids—a curious, determined 4-year-old and a friendly, enthusiastic 6-year-old. We're looking for someone who enjoys spending time with children, is active, patient and happy to get out and about in the local community.

We're looking for someone who is:

* Kind, caring and dependable

* Experienced in caring for young children

* Happy to plan simple activities and keep the kids entertained

* Comfortable walking to and from school

* Happy to help with light household duties on Thursdays

* Has a current Working with Children Check (or is willing to obtain one)

* First Aid/CPR qualification is an advantage
