Nanny for 8 month old

🍼 Nanny Wanted for a 8-Month-Old from Mid August

Location: Fairfield, Melbourne

Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM fortnightly (ie alternate weeks)

(Willing consider juggling different nannies if a particular day or two suits so feel free to reach out even if you can’t do every day)

Start Date: Mid August

Duration: 12 months with potential for ongoing

We are a small busy family looking for a kind, experienced, and dependable nanny to care for our 8-month-old daughter. In August we will need a magical person to help as we transition to having both parents working full time. We’re looking for someone who truly loves the infant stage, wants to make her days joyful and is willing to work every second week.

The Role:

Primary Care: Feeding, nap routines, play and creating a warm, safe environment

Light Tidying: Keeping things organised and washing baby-related dishes. Using periods of baby nap time to be productive with general household help.

Family dog: we have a very friendly border collie so must be comfortable with dogs. He sleeps during the day and will be walked outside of times in which a nanny is required.

What We’re Looking For:

Infant Experience: Proven experience caring for babies under 1 year old

Safety First: Must be CPR and First Aid certified

Reliability: Punctual and professional with a calm, patient demeanor

Personality: warm, caring, finds joy in the simple moments ie singing, nursery rhymes

Communication: must be happy for frequent open lines of communication on the days in which you would be caring.
