Nanny & Mother’s Helper | Quakers Hill

Hi everyone,

We are a busy, welcoming family looking for a proactive and organized Nanny/Mother’s Helper to give us a hand. We need someone who can "slide in" to our family life—someone comfortable working independently to keep the house moving, but also happy to collaborate with us when we are home.

This is a professional, "on the books" role (TFN) for someone who takes pride in helping a household run like clockwork during the busy afternoon-to-evening transition.

The Details:

• Days/Times: Tuesdays (3:30 PM – 7:30 PM) and Wednesdays (4:00 PM – 8:00 PM); however some flexibility in start time would be ideal incase after school activities change.

• Location: Pickups in Norwest and Riverstone; based in Quakers Hill.

• Adhoc: Potential for additional hours during school holidays or occasional evenings.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• The School Run: Picking up our children from daycare and school in your own car.

• Childcare: General care, play, homework help, and assisting with the bath and bedtime routine.

• Mother’s Helper duties: Helping us reset the house—preparing dinner, kitchen cleanup, basic tidying, and prepping the kids' bags/clothes for the next day. Plus adhoc tasks like collecting a grocery order on the way home.

Requirements:

• Current WWCC and National Police Check.

• Full Driver’s License and a reliable, comprehensively insured car.

• First Aid & CPR Certificate (current or willing to obtain).

• Insurance: Professional Indemnity Insurance is required to ensure all parties are protected should anything happen. (Note: This is easily available via NannySure).

• Neurodiversity: Experience with, or a genuine willingness to learn about, working with neurodiverse children.

• Formal Employment: This is a taxed position; a TFN is required.

Remuneration:

• Rate: negotiable, depending on experience.

• Travel: Petrol and vehicle wear-and-tear reimbursed at the ATO rate.

• Protection: We provide Workers Compensation insurance to ensure you are protected while working in our home.
