We’re a warm, caring family looking for a nanny to join our weekly routine. We have two young children — an energetic and curious 2-year-old and a newborn.
The role will mainly focus on caring for our toddler, who loves trips to the playground, attending classes (like Gymbaroo), and hands-on activities such as crafts and cooking. Our toddler attends weekly physio and OT sessions for mild cerebral palsy, so we’re looking for someone patient, supportive, and encouraging as he builds his skills and confidence.
Mum will usually be home caring for the newborn, and occasionally you may help with the baby so Mum can take the toddler to appointments.
Hours:
Part-time, Monday to Thursday, 8:00am–3:00pm (open to 3 days per week)
What we’re looking for:
A warm, reliable, and proactive nanny who enjoys spending time with toddlers and keeping them engaged through fun, stimulating activities. Someone who is happy getting out of the house as well as being creative with play at home (e.g. arts & craft, cooking together etc.). Experience with young children is important; experience with newborns or additional needs is a bonus but not essential.
Duties include:
- Caring for and engaging our toddler
- Preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, and snacks
- Planning fun, age-appropriate activities (crafts, cooking, play-based learning)
- Taking our toddler to parks, playgrounds, and classes
- Supporting development through play
- Helping with the newborn when needed
Light household tasks:
- Laundry (washing and folding)
- Dishes and general kitchen tidy-up
- Cleaning up after meals, meal prepping
- Tidying play areas
We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, keeps our toddler active and engaged, and helps our home run smoothly during the day.
