We are a kind and respectful family of four living in the Melbourne CBD looking for some help from April (Term 2) this year:
- kinder and school drop offs and pick-ups for our two children aged 3 and 10;
- supervising 10 year old to do reading, homework and musical instrument practice Mon-Thurs
- ad hoc evening babysitting on a week night or weekend if you are available
Hours would be around 6:45am to 9.15am and 3pm to 6.30pm Monday to Friday during school term. School holidays off. Open to a part-time, casual or contractor arrangement. The role involves commuting between the city, St Kilda and Essendon to drop off and collect the kids at different schools. We are open to someone using public transport (we live near Southern Cross station) or their own vehicle.
We are open to a live-in arrangement and on offer we have a bedroom available with a queen bed, TV, unlimited wifi and lots of streaming subscriptions, direct access to a bathroom shared with the kids and food provided (including evening meals with the family). A live in arrangement might suit an au pair from overseas or a local university student who might be looking for CBD accommodation. For a live out arrangement we are also open to splitting the role casually or part-time between two people. We currently have an au pair living with us who is great, and is finishing up at the start of April.
