We're looking for a lovely, reliable and experienced person to become a regular part of our family and help care for our 13-month-old son, Arthur. We are based in Malvern East.
We're initially looking for two regular mornings per week, around 9am-1pm with the potential to increase hours over time. Start date and days worked are flexible, and payment will be based on the applicant's experience.
Arthur is a happy, curious and active little boy who loves getting out and about, exploring and playing. We're looking for someone who enjoys spending time with toddlers and is confident looking after him independently.
The mornings might involve playing at home, going for walks or local outings, visiting the library or playground, preparing and giving him lunch and following his usual routine.
We're hoping to find someone who we can build a long-term relationship with. I'm planning to return to work next year, so there is potential for the role to grow into 2 full days per week if we're a great fit.
Ideally you'll be:
- Experienced caring for toddlers around Arthur's age
- Confident caring for him independently
- Reliable, responsible and proactive
- Happy to follow our routines and parenting style
- Comfortable taking him for walks and local activities
- First Aid/CPR certified
- In possession of a current WWCC and Police Check
- Able to provide excellent references
A car is not essential, although the ability to drive would be a bonus.
We're a relaxed and friendly family and would love to find someone who becomes a familiar and trusted person in Arthur's life.
