Are you a dedicated childcare professional with a passion for early childhood development? A professional family in the beautiful North Sydney area is seeking a warm, engaging, and experienced Nanny to care for their two young boys (aged 3 and 4½ years).
As both parents work busy schedules—primarily out of the house, with occasional days in a home office—they are looking for a reliable "right hand" who can take initiative and create a nurturing, structured, and fun environment
The Schedule & Compensation
Days: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (27 hours per week)
Rate: $40 – $45 per hour (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
Location: North Sydney
Key Responsibilities
Learning and Development: Engaging the boys in age-appropriate, enriching activities that promote learning (e.g., early literacy, numeracy problem-solving) and creativity (e.g., outdoor play, arts and crafts, cooking, nature walks).
Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day.
Safety & Care: Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised environment for the children.
Daily Support: Both children are toilet trained; however, they need to be reminded to wash their hands.
Household Upkeep: Standard light nanny duties to ensure the day runs smoothly (to be discussed further at interview).
Candidate Requirements
Mandatory:
Current and valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
Proven experience caring for toddlers and preschool-aged children.
A nurturing, proactive, and professional "can-do" attitude.
Preferred:
A degree or qualification in Primary Teaching or Early Childhood Education.
Long-term commitment to provide stability for the children.
