Hello!
My husband and I are looking for a nanny for around 8 to 10 hours a week.
Our little boy, Billy, is 8.5 months old and at such a fun age. He’s very active, curious and social, and loves interacting, playing and exploring. We’re hoping to find someone who could come to our home for two half-days a week, roughly 10am to 2pm, and spend time with him while I get some work done.
Billy is exclusively breastfed, so I’ll continue to take care of breastfeeding and settling him for naps, but we’re looking for someone who can really take the lead during playtime, keeping him entertained, engaged and safe, helping him explore, and giving him lots of interaction. He also has meals throughout the day, which he generally does really well with, so there would be some feeding involved too.
He’s very close to crawling and is constantly on the move, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys being active and getting down on the floor to play with little ones as they explore and develop. We also have a house with quite a few stairs, so it’s a bit of a physical household!
Ideally, we’d love to find someone warm, caring and reliable who genuinely enjoys spending time with babies and would be happy to become a familiar face in Billy’s routine. We’re hoping to find someone for an ongoing arrangement who might like to stay with us for a while. The regular hours would be around 8 to 10 hours a week, with the possibility of some extra hours here and there when the need comes up, if you’re available.
We’d ideally love someone with experience caring for babies, and it would be great to hear a little about your experience, any references you might have, etc.
We'd love to hear a little about you and whether this sounds like something you might be interested in and a little bit more about you!
