We’re a friendly, welcoming family based in Rushcutters Bay looking for a reliable, caring and experienced nanny to help look after our three girls, aged 7, 5 and 7 months.
We had a wonderful relationship with our previous nanny, who unfortunately had to return to the UK unexpectedly due to family circumstances. We’re now hoping to find someone equally lovely who will become a valued part of our family.
Hours:
- November–December: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:30–9:30 am and 3–7 pm (approx 12 hours per week, but likely more).
- From mid-January: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:30–9:30 am and 3–7 pm (approx 18 hours per week but likely more), as I return to work.
The role would include:
- Helping with morning and evening routines, including getting the girls ready for school and bedtime.
School and daycare drop-offs and pick-ups.
- Caring for our baby and engaging the older girls in fun, age-appropriate activities.
- Preparing simple meals and snacks for the children.
- Light household duties, including laundry, tidying and helping keep the household running smoothly.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous nannying or childcare experience, ideally with babies and young children.
- Holds a current Working With Children Check.
- Has a valid driver’s licence and is a confident, safe driver.
- Has current first aid and CPR certification (or is willing to obtain it).
- Is reliable, organised, warm and proactive.
- Can provide references from previous families.
We’re a relaxed, friendly household and would love to find someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and is interested in becoming part of our family's routine longer term.
